Setting up your Sunmi device
How to set up your device for Deliveroo orders
Before setting up your Sunmi device, please make sure the following steps are completed:
- Sunmi device was fully charged (100%)
- Stable internet connection (WiFi / Sim card applicable)
To get started with your Sunmi device and begin taking orders, follow these steps:
- Press the power button (see diagram below) to turn on the device
- Click the arrow to continue
- Set language and time zone (Asia/Hong Kong) (GMT+08:00)
- Connect to the Internet by Wi-Fi/SIM card
- Confirm ‘Start Configuration’ and wait until the installation is complete (100%)
- Check your email for login details
- Open the Deliveroo App and sign in with your username and password
- Set your preferred printing settings
- To start receiving orders, select ‘Open for Orders’
Auto update your device
Your device is set up to auto-update whenever we improve the Deliveroo app.
If you’ve disabled auto-updates:
- Go to the App Store and click on the Menu
- Select Auto update to switch it back on
