Getting started with Pickup
A guide to use Pickup and preparing your store for collections from Deliveroo customers
Pickup lets you welcome Deliveroo customers into your site to collect their orders in person. This article will help set you up for success.
What we need from you
Before your outlet can start accepting Pickup orders we need a few things from you:
- Fill in your Pickup instructions for customers
- Create a clear Pickup point for customers with signage (we can supply this)
1. Fill in your Pickup instructions on the Deliveroo device
Partners are allowed to handle Pickup orders through the Sunmi device.
To add instructions for customers:
- Go to ‘Settings’ on your tablet
- Press the pencil icon under ‘Pickup orders’ section (see image below)
2. Create a clear Pickup point for customers in-store with signage
Make sure it's clear to customers where they should go to collect their orders when they enter your store - we suggest using a dedicated sign like the ones below if you don't already have one. We are welcome to provide in-store and online Pickup sign materials for partners.
