Scheduled orders
Learn how to manage orders that customers place in advance for later
Customers on Deliveroo can choose to schedule an order in advance for delivery at a specific time. Scheduling an order makes it easy for our customers to plan food / grocery for their day. They can order in the morning for groceries, for their family on the way home from work or arrange a team lunch for the next day at work.
How do scheduled orders work?
When you accept a new scheduled order you can see the order details and when it’s scheduled to be picked up.
Once you accept a scheduled order, it will appear in the ‘Prepare Later’ section of your Sunmi device.
We’ll remind you when it’s time for the scheduled order to be prepared by asking you to confirm the order. Once you confirm the order it will move to the top of your order list.
Can I turn off scheduled orders?
You can choose whether or not to accept scheduled orders. If you choose to accept scheduled orders, your store will always be visible on Deliveroo, even when you’re closed, so customers can schedule an order for later.
If you choose not to accept scheduled orders, your store will only be visible to customers when you’re open.
Who do I contact to turn scheduled orders off (or on)?
If you would like to change the setting, please reach out to us via the ‘Help’ page through Hub.
